And before freak out about no Dike, if we don't see him as the main striker on the Gold Cup roster, then we freak.
Pretty stacked squad overall, I just really hope McKenzie can beat out Miazga on that right side. Time to see something different. Really is unfortunate Richards picked up a minor injury when he did.
Hopefully we can get him in for the Gold Cup too.

Fully expect him to be the #1 guy at the Gold Cup. If he isn't then it's likely that something came up with his club situation.

Richards
Green
Dike
That’s a tasty spine for our gold cup team.

Berhalter says Daryl Dike will travel with the USMNT throughout camp. Said decisions for two Nations League games were based on form. Dike will play vs. Costa Rica on June 9. Wanted to replicate carrying more players and picking 23 for games like WCQ, but couldn't.
LINK
Berhalter said it was a tough decision with Dike, but that he has a bright future with the USMNT.
Cited good form from Siebatcheu in Swiss League and Sargent's season-long output for Werder Bremen.
Berhalter says Tyler Adams is important enough to team to put on the roster even with injury doubts. They had to submit roster today, but can make injury replacements up until 24 hours before the first game.

7 goals and 3 assists?

Yea, thats a bit of a head scratcher, especially since Dike had 9 goals in 19 games.

Gotta take into account his play vs the talent around him in a top 5 league. I see your point, though.
I think I would have taken Dike over Siebatcheu unless the plan was to play Dike against not only Costa Rica, but the Gold Cup as well.
Also, can this roster be changed as we go through the tourney?

It's only a 2 game tournament.

I hate that we brought Yueill/Siebatcheu and not Dike.
ETA: Otherwise I totally agree with the roster choices.

Just wanted to point out that if we didn't bring Siebatcheu, the ages of our "Forwards" would be 18, 20, 21, 21, 22. Add another 21 if you included Dike in his place.

Steffen
Dest Brooks Ream Robinson
McKennie Adams Lletget
Reyna Sargent Pulisic
Is that how everyone else see this? If adams doesnt play, Musah?

Steffen
Cannon Brooks McKenzie Dest
Musah Adams McKennie
Reyna Sargent Pulisic
Could go a million different ways with the back 4. Could also swap Reyna for Aaronson.

I’d like to see a starting lineup of:
Steffan
Dest brooks McKenzie Robinson
Adams McKenzie
Pulisic aaronson Reyna
Seibatcheu
for no other reason than 10/11 starters would be from teams currently qualified for the 2021-2022 uefa champions league. I wonder if Weah could play LB to give us a full set.
