With this crazy world, I'm finding it hard to enjoy things in life

You can't even look at this world objectively anymore and think that everything is going to be ok. We are due for a lot of pain before anything gets better. We don't even have good news anymore. With each passing day, you hear about the governments around the world becoming more totalitarian and societies become less free... and fricktards everywhere seem to be begging to be feudal serfs instead of free citizens. There is hardly anything on the right path or good anymore. I have children but at this point, I wish that I didn't simply because the future looks so bleak.

Use it as an opportunity to get out and enjoy nature. Read. Read. Read. Get off the social media. Oh and keep away from dumb people.

The problem is that I face a possible termination with my company for refusing the vaccine. I have my reasons whether anyone agrees with them or not. My life as a free American should give me the right to decide what medical procedures to take. Instead, they are using companies to strong-arm employees into doing something that they are not comfortable with. Just wait until they start mandating it for children under 12. It's fricked up.

I'm trying to convince my wife and kids we need to move to Montana in the solitude to keep away from the crap that's going to hit the fan. They want nothing of it. I told them if I get a job offer up there, they may not have a choice.

i did that over a year ago and it was liberating!!! and then i found myself on here more than i needed to be..........so i took a step back from that, started golfing more, started to run some, and more time in the gym because my tiny arse wife loves to eat out and foods don't do to her what they do to me!!!

Man, be thankful you have those kids and something worth continuing the battle for. Teach them well and be there for them and never give up.

The real estate market is completely out of reach in Mokntana. I hope you are independently wealthy. It is also close to going blue and the fight to keep it red is a heavy one. Bezos 3x wife is spending shite loads of money to back candidates in urban areas that are turning it blue. Have family up there.

I will never give up. I will never stop fighting, but daily it seems that we are losing the war. I guess morale is pretty low with me right now. This shite eats me alive. I have no idea how I am going to provide for them in about a month from now.

Living well is the best revenge.
Seriously; as others have suggested decouple yourself from the media. More importantly, do things you like to do, go places that you want to go, buy things that you want to buy, have the opinions that you want to have and most importantly be unapologetic about it.
One of the things that Rush Limbaugh used to say, that completely resonated with me was "you have to have fun". The point of life is to enjoy it and as Limbaugh would say as well, liberals are completely unable to have fun with anything.
Sure there are going to be setbacks, stupid people and bad government. But the more examples we have of people living right, being positive and enjoying life the more people, especially your kids, will see that good in action.
Go out tonight and do something fun with your family that you haven't done in a long time. You'll feel better almost immediately.

I try not to think like this, but I understand the frustration. I have a 14 year old son and a 19 year old son. Both incredibly smart, hard working, etc. But the world is very quickly stacking up against them...and no amount of, "It must be so hard being a straight while male in America!!11!" comments will make it not factual in 2021.
Best I can do is to tell them to keep doing what they are doing, and to always remember who they are and never be pressured into accepting a label put on them by someone else if it's not who they are.
