I never caught the original variant but am on day 3 of this. First two days kicked my arse pretty bad with vomit/diarrhea, coughing (not as bad as I would have thought), severe chills, weird type of throat soreness I’ve never had before, feels like sandpaper and I cannot quench my thirst no matter what I do. I’m not saying I’m out of the woods but it’s drastically better today.

No political agenda with the thread just wondering how y’all’s experiences have been

Is there a test that specifically tells you that you got delta?

Not that I’m aware of I’m just assuming it is because it’s pretty widespread

Not sure if my Covid was delta but…

Got sick starting Saturday. Fever 101 that night. Ok Sunday morning. Felt bad Sunday afternoon. Fever 102. Tylenol knocked the fever out both times. Monday I was a little tired and achy but no fever. Tuesday less of the same. Today I’m pretty much back to normal.

Never had any symptom except fever and aches.

My 38 year old brother tested positive for Covid last Friday. He said that the lack of taste and smell is the most annoying thing about it. That and not having the energy to do anything seem to be the symptoms that he's experienced the most.

It is not a simple test the way I understand it. You have to get into the gnome level to determine it.
This is why we are not seeing actual numbers and tracking the way that the UK has been doing it.

Once the word gets out that delta is infecting the vax'd, they will have no argument in justifying everyone get vax'd. Therefore they will not be providing Delta numbers to the public.

Anecdotal observation from wife (no pics) this morning at her ER. I am pro-choice when it comes to vaccine, so this is not trying to convince people one way or the other. It’s simply info direct from the floor of one of our ERs. Whether it’s delta or not, here’s the situation there:

-Huge numbers of patients all positive
(Said it’s the worst wave they’ve had with Covid so far)
-Symptoms are worse and patients are much more sick
-Ages ranging mostly from 30s to 50s with some in ICU

Use this info how you choose. Just have access to it and wanted to share with the board.

I'm pretty sure I had it a few weeks ago.

It was like a very mild flu for me. Headaches, body aches, chills, and a loss of appetite. No shortness of breath and I never lost smell or taste.

im on day 11. I had the first shot 2 weeks before I caught it.

First few days I was very tired and congested. Mild fever and body aches. Felt like the flu. Since then its come and gone but the coughing has never stopped. I feel like my entire body is stuffed with cotton. Head is cloudy. I feel like shite.

Maybe that is what I have after my covid recovered, then foolishly covid vaxxed son hugged me and has been in my space. Woke up with a headache this morning.

Probably nothing, but if I stop posting....

This is where you lose normal sane people.

The first round of Rona was killing people in the streets right and pretty much a death sentence per the media.

So now it is even worse
