I fly for work multiple times during the week. I have TSA-Pre. Does anyone here have Clear? Is it easier than Pre?

I hear the clear can double your home runs per season.

I have clear and TSA pre. Worth it if they have it at your home airport. You basically get to cut the pre line.

What do you mean easier?

I have both and recommended having both if you travel a good bit. Clear gets you to the front of the line, then precheck gets you through faster.

Do you fly using an airport that uses CLEAR?

Global Entry (and included pre-check) is fricking awesome, but CLEAR strikes me as kind of meh, unless I'm missing something.

I wouldn’t have a clue. I haven’t flown commercial in decades, bro.

i have Clear only. Wife has both Pre check and Clear.
Clear will get you to the head of the general search line but you still have to take off shoes with all the other plebes. She and the kids go to the separate pre check security screen with no shoes off and end up waiting 5-10 minutes for me.
With neither expect a 30-40 min line.
Only reason I don't have pre check is you have to go in person with documents and I just haven't set aside the time.

Used to play “smear the clear”* in grade school.

Don’t recommend being on the wrong side of that, fwiw.

Why would I make my private jet clear?

And will work also pay for it, since time is money?

I signed up this week after a nightmarish line at LAX.

Agree. I have global entry. I do not have Clear and don’t plan on getting it.

Does Greyhound check your ID or do they not care?

It’s good if you go out of the country. Most TSA precheck lines are relatively short.

I just signed up last week. Took minutes. Approval within days by text and email.

I've never run into a TSA pre line that is more than a couple minutes. I think my CC wiil reimburse some of clear but then I'd have to expand to whole family, I'm sticking with just pre for now.

Are you one of those people that answers random Amazon questions with, “I didn’t buy this product so I can’t offer an opinion” ?
