What range would you draft him now?
He finished RB7 last year as the bell cow, although it was a different offense.

I can see him going around the Gibson, Harris, CEH tier.

That high? I think I want all three of those before Robinson

Maybe around the Swift type?

Monty
Swift
Carson
Dobbins
Robinson

Somewhere in that tier. They could bring in a passing catching back to really muddy it up too.

I mean assuming they don’t sign another back, his production was better than all of those guys last year except Montgomery.

I could see him going in the group you mentioned. Darrel Henderson is hardly moving up in ECR so I doubt Robinson will jump up that high either.

I just know he was consistent last year and carried a lot of ppl to the playoffs.

Robinson was a shitty bellcow last year...he was an average RB that got a ton of touches. You are banking on the Jags finding no one else to share the load. I still like him as a RB2, but on the lower end.

I can agree with this.
And you're right, his success last year was based on pure volume. This is all assuming they don't bring someone else in.

He averaged 4.5 per carry and caught almost 50 balls

No way he gets the volume of touches this year as last

I'm not sure they even need to bring someone else in. This is the same regime who thought it was prudent to take another running back in the first round and was clearly looking at some form of split backfield workload coming into the season.

And the workload JRob had last year was insane. In the 14 games he played:

JRob rushes: 240
Other RB rushes: 11

Yes, that's over 95% of his team's running back rush attempts. Obscene.

The passing game work wasn't nearly as lopsided, but still very good for a guy who isn't really your traditional 3rd down back.

JRob receptions: 49
Other RB receptions: 31

yea he was just efficient and made the most of that volume.
looking at the depth chart it's pretty barren after him
Ozigbo
Ogunbowale
Hyde

If they don't bring in another RB, I honestly don't see how he finishing outside the top 15 in standard
Fantasypros already bumped him up 12 spots in their rankings above Swift, Sanders, & Jacobs.

JRob really helped me make the playoffs last year but it was purely based off volume.

But I just don’t trust Urban and Hyde isn’t a slouch. He’s going to go way too early for my blood. I’d take most Tier 3 RBs over him, even Swift who I don’t like much.

Why was he shitty? Because he was an udfa? He was very solid.
