Last minute as I know many have already sealed up these plans...Whats a good spot to travel potentially for Christmas from Louisiana?

Not looking to break the bank, but also looking to have a good time. Possibly extended family travel as well...but likely just a family of 5.

Try something different this year.

TIA !

I’ve always wanted to do a Christmas trip to a small New England town in Vermont and stay in a nice cabin with a hot tub.

Think New York City would be worth traveling to this winter? Seems like I’ve heard a lot of negative about NYC lately. The wife and I have always wanted to go.

Go up to Leavenworth, Wa.

Yeah, it's a typical "Christmas village" but its in the mountains, and scenic.

We have not been since 2018 but we did not have any trouble. The store clerks were all very friendly and said Merry Christmas instead of happy holidays. Rockettes show was fantastic.

NYC is fun at Christmas, with the big tree at Rockefeller Center, ice skating in various places around Manhattan, the christmas market stalls in Bryant Park, the decorated windows at the big department stores....plus enough non christmas stuff to keep you very, very busy. Museums, shows, endless food options...

Somewhere you can drive. These flight issues because of vax mandates are only going to get worse.

Wife & I did that one year (Stowe Vermont) was great trip. Non stop New Orleans to Montreal and a short/beautiful drive to Vermont.
