I mean, the anger in this election is tangible and I think we are so split that we cannot ever unite.

People are angry for being sold out by government. It is frustrating that so many fellow Americans don't seem to grasp that. Truth is that no matter who wins or loses, my life and my families life will largely remain unchanged. My kids... that's different.

I think the same could be said for 2000. And every Obama election, God help us! We are not united, that's for sure, but we WILL go on. Trump will be able to get a whole lot done with a Republican Congress. The witch will get nothing done and the country will continue to slip into dangerous mediocrity.

Maher admitted that their vilification of people with different ideas led, in part, to Trump. Calling Bush, McCain, and then Romney racists made the charges meaningless against Trump.
