Corect Auggie. Here in Maryland that's the way it is and DMV workers are expressly prohibited from reviewing that.
So, anyone can show up at a Maryland DMV and, "present foreign documentation without valid accompanying United States Citizenship and Immigration Services documentation, to obtain a driver’s license (DL) or identification card (ID)" and get a voter registration card via moter/voter. But the DMV employee cannot review the voter registration card submitted by the individual who was just issued a driver's license (after he/she submitted foreign documentation without valid documentation of status) to see if they checked the box attesting that he/she is a citizen and is eligible to vote RIGHT AFTER giving them a driver's license based on foreign documentation/lack of US documentation.
Why would this be unless voter fraud was sought?

They dont. There is no payoff to do so, considering risk. Maybe 10 in last 50 years. It's just something to piss off reactionaries. It's an excuse. " We woulda won but they cheated."

How in the hell can a illegal vote. I thought you had to be a legal citizen to vote.
The key is how you determine who is a legal citizen. You have seen how the liberals fight any law that requires an ID to vote or to register to vote. How do you verify if they are a citizen if they have no ID? You should have someone checking periodically and purging the voter rolls of non-citizens, but I don't think there is a way to do that.
Liberals say that that lack of convictions is proof that there is no fraud happening. I say it's because nobody is looking. Did you know that it is illegal to have premarital sex in Mississippi? Premarital sex in Mississippi must be rare, because nobody was even charged with it last year. Mississippi must be one righteous state...

Just saw baw but Obama didn't actually tell illegals to vote he was talking about a legal citizen voting even though they may have illegal family here
Sorry.
The dude is a lawyer.
He uses and understands words precisely.
He answered a question in which illegal immigrants were CLEARLY redefined as """citizens""" "because they 'contribute' to society in some productive way."
The woman he was talking with is an actress. It would surprise me not at all if she was reading a question worded by Obama & Co exactly as she read it.
quote:
RODRIGUEZ: Many of the millennials, Dreamers, undocumented citizens -- and I call them citizens because they contribute to this country -- are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us?
OBAMA: Not true. And the reason is, first of all, when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, et cetera. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential in terms of who you voted for.

Democrats do not want verification of identity at the polls. They don't want this because they can provide illegals (and others willing to vote twice) a name of someone who hasn't voted so that they can register a vote.

She is a citizen and said WHEN YOU vote you're just constantly looking for a way to vilify him. He's done a lot of bad shite but telling a CITIZEN if she votes there will not be an investigation into her family isn't one of them. You're a dumb arse there are plenty of reasons to not like him but answering a question isn't one of them.

If they let you fill out an anonymous ballot, you can vote.

You obviously missed the quote the first time.

But then I provided it to you in print.
I'll do so one more time.
