This is what I've been hoping for. But I didn't think Donald was going to get more than 230ish votes. I thought he'd lose Florida and not flip a single blue state

I can't claim to have seen it coming but I knew the polls would have a problem this year.
Even the best pollsters are beholden to their models of expected turnout and typical voting patterns.
Buy two things were screwing those patterns up.
First, Trump wasn't actually doing great with the Republican base buy he was targeting a type voter not typically in base.
Second. Democrats, in their infinite arrogance were regularly shitting on precisely the same group of voters.
Running around denigrating the uneducated white vote ain't the most brilliant plan if you're hoping to win the Midwest and your opponent is targeting exactly those people.
