It is interesting how so many talking heads are talking about how women are breaking for Kamala on the "reproductive freedom" issue.

Here's the thing, this issue is probably very important to Democrat women, no doubt about it. It is a big, big issue for the childless cat women but they are not turning out. As a whole, democrat turn out is terrible.

Now, let's focus on Republican women. The republican party has been the party of life since at least the 1970s. There is no arguing that fact. In fact, one of the biggest litmus tests for the republican party historically has been if the candidate is pro-life or not. It is why even the Bushes had to lie and say they were pro-life (yeah I am looking at you W).

So now, all of the sudden after perhaps years of being a registered republican we are supposed to believe these republican women are breaking to Kamala in secret because of the life issue?

I think the talking heads are using "women" breaking to Kamala instead of "democrat women" who were already in the bag for Kamala.

Trump is headed to 315Evs.

My main point is that Kamala has been in the white house for 4 years. If Abortion was so important to her, why not try to push through legislature to make it legal? The reason is that she doesn't care about that and if she fixes it then she can't campaign in the promise to fix it.

Take this for what it’s worth which isn’t much.

I know of 2 women I work with who are registered republicans and voted for Harris for exactly this reason. Both are married with children and say it’s more about women’s access to healthcare than it is abortion.

Once again, that’s just anecdotal, not saying I agree just relaying information

I don’t understand this argument
No one is withholding healthcare, if a life is at risk they are going to do whatever is needed.

Women have way too many options to birth control for this to be a legitimate issue

They may not have a house to live in, but hey they'll be healthy.

That is the Democrat platform in a nutshell. They have been campaigning on the wealthy paying their fair share at least since Obama.
