I'd assume they wouldn't release him unless they confirmed some substance abuse. Still, gotta hold him in case he didn't violate a league policy and a good team picks him up... Would love an A-Rod to Gordon connection

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Browns cut Gordon over "trust issues" after he re-injured his hamstring away from the team and was late to the Browns' facility Saturday
