No. Not at all. You may have gotten a bigger name for him but it’s not bad.

I’ve heard multiple guys basically say he’d have to break all of the rookie TE records by a fair amount to be worth his current draft spot. No need for him if you have Waller.

Mike Ditka went 56/1076/12 tuddies as a rookie. So I don’t think that’s a true statement.

Last year Mark Andrews went 58/701/7 and finished 4th in TE PPG. I think that’s very doable for Pitts

Damn you had Waller and Pitts? I dont like Jacobs this year so my plan would have been to let pitts have a good game then sale high.

Yea I’m not so sure he got the most value from him. I don’t like Jacobs AT ALL

In the future, if you draft an elite TE, there's no need to draft another TE much less one in the middle rounds. You need those middle rounds to build RB and WR depth in any draft and even more so if you select a TE or QB early.

In both of my leagues, TE is eligible for Flex. In my main one, RBs/WRs get 5 bonus points for 100+ yds but TEs get it for 50+ yds.

Having Waller and Pitts in starting lineup would be worth it in that main league. I actually have Waller and hoping that Belichik uses my backup Jonnu Smith enough to justify starting him in Flex here and there.

If you didn’t already have Waller I’d say that was a bad move but with Waller there is no need for pitts, bench points don’t win leagues

I mean the fact that you had to go back well before fantasy was a wide spread thing should tell you that is very much the exception to the rule

Rookie TEs struggle to produce 99.999999 percent of the time (atleast in fantasy production terms)

Maybe Pitts can play WR and negate that history, but I wouldn’t bet on it over a viable starting RB in a non dynasty setting

Gronks had the best recent Fantasy season as a TE due to having 10 TDs, but he still only finished as TE9 from only having 42 catches and 500 ish yards. The position is frickin hard

Since you have waller it was a decent move. I think you could have gotten more value with the lack of TEs however
