A lot of mixed opinions on Drake. Is he worth an add? Only droppable player I have is Hines

I just added him in one league, but only because I blew through my budget in the draft and have zero RB depth.

Only thing this does for me is push me further away from JK dobbins

Yay another RB in Baltimore!

So hard to trust any of them under that system.

No

Why not add a player who can gain real value with an injury to the guy in front of him?

In hopes of a JT injury? Cause Hines won’t get much unless he starts.

I mean maybe. You’re not starting him every week. He might get you like 18pts one game and then 4 the next. Not much more reliable/dependable than Drake I bet.

But he is a slam dunk rb1 with an injury ahead of him at a position with tons of injuries

Well Hines becomes a top 15 RB if JT goes down, and could have some deep league flex appeal during nasty bye weeks. I just had to look up the 3rd back in Indy. It’s someone named Deon Jackson. I don’t think whoever that is is taking away snaps from Taylor and Hines.

Drake is competing with JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Mike Davis for work with a team that has leaned on a split backfield approach the last 2 years. Drake may very well be a healthy scratch by week 5 when Gus and Dobbins are back

So I’d put Hines’ median and 95% outcome above Drake- don’t really see what the argument is for valuing Drake higher

Not so much an argument for drake, as much as a tempering for homes. As everything stands now, it’s not much difference. The big bet is hoping Taylor gets hurt. Because if he’s not, Hines is looking at single digits most weeks.

Same goes for drake wirh maybe a big game twice a year without injuries.
