My opponent this week needs a bye week QB fill-in and his backup is injured, so I snagged the best QB on the waiver wire (I was before him in line).

He's none too happy, retorting with a scathing criticism of tactics. What says the fantasy board?

i guess all's fair but how bad is your team that you can drop someone just to block an opponent from picking someone up.

All's fair. This is not uncommon practice and it's very savvy to do if you have the roster to do it.

I made the championship against a guy who streamed QB. His QB got hurt and I dropped half my bench for every good QB available

Just set the rules and I will play by them.

Once had a league that players that were dropped were frozen until next week (don’t know why. Stupid rule). I was in your similar situation and added and dropped 3 different QBs so he couldn’t start anyone at the position. Next year they changed the rule.

frick it. I won that week.

That's awesome. I would have totally done the same thing with like every position that I knew my opponent needed

Did it last week, grabbed the only 2 legit TE streamers on the wire. Held onto them until Friday and hen dropped them so they weren’t eligible that week. He had to play OJ Howard and got negative points, so it worked out great for me.

I did it to the Fournette owner last week.

That's what you do.

He sounds like a pussy. That's a smart move on your part.

“You play to win the game” no one remember losers, tell him to stop being a pussy.

My 2qb/10 team league a few years ago, one guy bragged about not needing a third qb on his roster.... near the end of the reg season his qb gets hurt, and I put in WW claims for the 2 available qbs, he was forced to play w/ 1 and I kicked his arse. He complained and cried the rest of the year, it was glorious

In the league I commish, I capped qb/te/def at three each so at best someone can chew up two from the wire. But if there’s no rule against it, I see no issue with it.

Doesn't seem like it would work very well with waivers. Unless he just tried to pick up 1, and that 1 he was trying to pick up was your top waiver priority guy.

I picked up Morris and McFadden just so I could trade them to the zeke owner. Nothing wrong with that
