Yep the worst thing for Mixon owners LY was the fact that Bernard was much more involved. Gio is completely out of the picture for the most part at this point and it seems like Marvin finally understands he needs to feed his best players.

How Collins barely played in the 4th is beyond me. He was the obvious better back IMO. Allen didn't do shite except for the goal line TD.

I hope to God they use his talents better throughout the season.

All in all it was a decent game though everything considered. If he gets more snaps he will put up points.

No back can garner 100% of the work. Gio got alot of work with Mixon spending time nursing injuries. Gio doesn't bother me as a Mixon owner.

Allen is their passing game back. That’s why Collins hasn’t been in down 2 scores

I’ll be honest, how they can think Allen is the best bet even in passing situations is beyond me. There were a couple of spots in Pass Pro early where Collins didn’t do well, but for the most part they weren’t staying in to block. Just put your better back in and figure it out.

Buck Allen can run routes as a receiver. Don’t think Collins is doing that. But as a 3rd down back Collins has done a better job doing something when he catches the ball

The game was very much still a game most of the 4th. They weren't really airing it out.

I think they wasted their best back when they needed him the most.

Now I'm legitimately pissed.

I'm not too concerned with the way he ended the game with that burst. Especially with extra rest before next week.

Marty is just too quick to drop the running game

58 called passes vs 19 called runs (QB scrambled moved from runs to passes). Marty just completely gave up on running the ball after the half

I’d rather a low scoring night from mixon then a serious injury

This, though the 9 points are welcome. It wasn’t ideal but that was the toughest Run D he will play in a while and he had some runs called back. The volume is there, which is half the battle

The good thing about my teams this week I either have gurley or DJ as my RB1 and mixon as my #2.

A low scoring game from mixon shouldn’t hurt me to bad unless some other players ball out again this week....

Collins is riding the pine until further notice. Hopefully miller, barber, jones, or eckler can fill the void in the flex.

What game did you watch

They had an 8:35 run pass ratio in the 2nd half

Only 3 runs in the 4th, one was a designed run by Jackson.

It was a 14 point game at half, an 11 point game with 12:30 left in the 3rd, and a 5 point game with 9:35 left in the game.

Hardly a scenario to abandon the run.
