T.J. Hockenson's 25.1 PPR points were the third-most most scored by a tight end in his first career game and the most since Jim Mitchell (26.7 points) in 1969.

Aided by OT and facing Arizona, Hockenson ran 38 pass routes, tied for fourth among tight ends so far in Week 1.

Hockenson passed the eye test for me. Looks like he's next

OJ Howard was in on 55-of-69 snaps. Slot/wide for 12 of them. Via PFF.

OJ Howard did not play well in the game — none of the #Bucs did, really — but this was the highest single-game snap % of his career so far.

I started pushing for Hock once I saw how they were using him in the preseason but probably the best TE prospect to come out in years, didn't need to learn how to block like many with his pedigree do, and came into an offense with plenty of opportunity for him.

Dalvin Cook looked like an absolute stud.

Dude looked like he was shot out of a cannon coming through the line of scrimmage.

He'll lose a leg by week 5 tho.

Henry out touched Lewis 20-6. A good sign going forward. 20 touches/gm will put him in RB1 conversation. With their defense, the game scripts should lend towards a heavy workload more often than not. Seeing AJ Brown start out hot is also a good sign for Henry owners.

Likewise, Chris Thompson will be a viable flex option in Washington all year in PPR formats. The running game was a mess for Washington yesterday.

NE backfield is so tough to gauge. I for sure thought Michel would at least be able to keep Burkhead away from carries

I think there’s enough touches for both McCoy and Williams to be reliable Flex plays

I'll admit that Michel's stat line yesterday is a bit worrisome. They really need to start throwing him the ball more to open it up for him in the running game. It reminded me of the way the saints used Ingram early in his career. When he was in the game he was blocking or running the ball. It's weird because Michel was a capable receiver at Georgia

It’s official: Dante Pettis isn’t the 49ers’ top wide receiver.

On Sunday, the presumed No. 1 entering training camp played two snaps.

Two. Snaps.

After the 31-17 victory at Tampa Bay, head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked about Pettis’ paltry playing time.

“He went into this game backing up and when he did go in there, from everything I saw live, he did a hell of a job,” Shanahan said. “Hopefully, he’ll work off that and continue to earn some more time out there.”

just a weird situation here

If Cook stays healthy he’s a top 5 RB this year

He’s the most talented WR from what I saw last year. He’s got to be a mental head case or lazy. Only playing 2 snaps... Yeah, he’s a problem

His talent jumps off the screen. He buried poor Deion Jones a time or two

The CJ/kerryon split is certainly worrisome, but hoping the talent shines through

Ekeler could be this year’s James Conner

Carson will be a top 5 or 6 back if he stays healthy

RB Derrius Guice had an MRI this morning on the other, non-ACL knee and he’s likely to miss some time. The hope is he does not need surgery, but the team is doing a full evaluation. He gained 18 yards on 10 carries, looking like he wasn’t himself.

I’ve got Drake in the flex. He’s a good back stuck on an awful team. I might give him another game or two
