All the water we drink is reclaimed sewage, earth doesn't make new water. Dumbasses will believe anything.

The fermented corn gives it a nice hint of whiskey.

Stone Brewery had a filtration system that they were claiming could take water "from Toilet to tap". . . All water gets filtered by nature for reuse. The amount of water used to brew is pretty insane and recovering any amount of water goes a long ways for a brewery's water and waste bills.
If you want a genuinely nasty beer concept, Martin House in Fort Worth is supposedly making a "Hot Dog Water" flavored beer. That'll be a hard pass. Martin House does a whole lot of bizarro beers but this is the worst idea I've seen them try.

I think it was New Belgium that did something similar. Unfortunately, craft breweries seem to be a whiny liberal game.

The fruit and or pine tree flavors just aren’t my thing.

At the very base level, every molecule of water you have ever ingested has been pissed out by another creature at some point in time.

water scarcity? Do they think water just floats up into space and off the planet or something?

Not sure equating water vapor and evaporation to taking sewage water and running it through a purifier is the same thing.
"Here's a new beer where we filtered the toilet water from the sewage and made beer with it. It has a slight honey/nutty taste"
or
"We used our local drinking water and purified it"
Which one are you choosing? It is NOT the same thing.
