Too bad there is not a Deano’s here some type of boudin pizza or seafood topping could be unique.

Haven't eaten pizza in Baton Rouge since the early 90's, but I have fond memories of waking up with a hangover on Sundays and heading over to the Mr. Gatti's pizza buffet with my buddies to eat too much pizza and watch NFL games.

I know it's not a great local pizza joint like most in the thread, but I loved that place.

I like Red Zepp but I've had a slice of their plain cheese pizza (from my kid's order) and it was pretty terrible. I don't think there're any plain cheese pizza's in BR that would score above a 6.5. Maybe Rocca.

Never had Fat Boy's, but by the looks of it, no way it gets better than a 5.0.

Having Whole Foods is a disgrace. Red Zepplin is the best hands down. Not a big fan but why is Schlitz n Giggles never mentioned on food topics here?

Because Whole Foods is infinitely better than Schlitz

And really it speaks to what a shite Pizza town BR is, but WF has fresher, better ingredients (sorry Papa Johns) than most pizzerias.
Their pizza is good.

Dave likes crispy thin crust pizza. If its soft and chewy he will hate it

I agree, unless they make him a special pizza. Stoped and ate their after the Tennessee game. The slices are too big and floppy for the way he scores his pizza.
