Seems like getting a pre/post game meal for an event around the dome that is close by is getting a bit more difficult.

That stretch of retail between the dome and Rouses is really well done but nothing seems to survive there.

Arhaus moved to Metairie, Tava closed, Blaze Pizza closed, Devil Moon / Brewery Saint X closing all within the last year or so.

Damn. I liked that place a lot but aren’t down there often. Food was great, beer decent, good enough.

Went there a few months ago and I thought the food was horrible. Driest hamburger I’ve ever had and worst cracklins I’ve ever had. Beer was decent.

Went there the first day of the CFB playoffs, watched the 4th quarter of Miami/A&M and then some of the Tulane/OM game

Wife and I were 2 of 4 people total the couple of hours we were there on a really nice Saturday afternoon that was just a little warm for December

Covid killed it. When I worked around there pre-Covid those places were slammed for lunch. I don't think any of them are still there except for Willa Jean.

I’ve only been on non event weekends here and there, but I really thought between events and also weekday lunch, dinner traffic it would have done okay but no.

Beer there was pretty good. The DC owners, bluejacket brewing I believe, knew their beer.
