MF Blue (the new Hondurian)
These need some time. Not sure why but my first couple were very meh. After a few months they started to come alive. And everyone I know that's smoked them have said the same thing. Rest them for a bit. Not sure if they have been rushing them bc of demand or what.

First cigar since last summer.
Pulled out an Ashton Cabinet No.7 from my humidor.
Threw some nice ribeyes on the Kamado tonight. Had a couple of old fashions and now ending the night with a cigar and casino royale.

I enjoyed an Oliva Serie O Torpedo with a few Rye Old Fashioneds. Had a couple too many, “Blondie” scrambled some eggs, served with blueberries…

Friday night was a Bolivar Churchill Regional from at least 15 years old a buddy sent me last month. It had that twang that Habanos are supposed to have.

No pics, but currently enjoying an Oliva Melanio and some aged rum. Feels perfect right now in New Orleans at 72 degrees with a nice breeze.

That it is.
Very close to their Norteno line which was discontinued. Very good substitute IMO

Rojas make some damn good cigars. I love the street tacos and the unfinished business.

Next up is a Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto that I found at the bottom of my humidor and has been aging for 10+ years.
We’ve gotta see the cello on that.
Not a bad stick. I would not wait 10 years again. 2 or 3 maybe.

quote:I just ordered a box this morning and it's going to take a lot of self restraint to let them rest. (I did order a few other MF singles which should help.) From this past weekend:
MF Blue (the new Hondurian) 5pk. These are hard to find around town right now.
Not a fan of the toro I smoked but good enough to confirm my enjoyment of the gordo.

Check out this find I picked up today.
2012 release…talk about aged

I've now had one that was agreed 10+ years and this one which I bought 2 weeks ago. I'm a third of the way through and this one is so much better than the one I had sitting in my humidor for years. The only knock is that it has a tight draw. It reminds me of trying to drink a thick shake through a straw.
