ut the last couple I've tried have seemed cheap and trashy. Is there anything close to "upscale" Chinese buffet in BR?

My family celebrated a lot of birthdays and holidays at Taste of China. It was solidly in the rotation with Ryan’s and Poncho’s (until they closed).

Hate to hijack the thread, but where is the best Chinese buffet in BR now? It's been a while, but the last couple I've tried have seemed cheap and trashy. Is there anything close to "upscale" Chinese buffet in BR?
Have never been but always see a lot of cars in the parking lot at Ombu on Sherwood.

Is it the same menu, or normal Chinese budget stuff?
There was an earlier thread about the change, Saying normal Buffett
Stuff but charging like $25

going off memory here - was that the place that had the raw bar?
Seems familiar.
Side note: despite their fondness for the dish back in the motherland, this was not the best location to get the raw dog in the back room.

I'll never forget going there. I was like 13 or 14. We were finished with our food and waited around for 30 minutes to hear "Numba won numba two numba twee pick up pwease"
We all busted out laughing. The server came over and said with a smile Y'all aren't the only ones to hang around until he starts announcing"

We went once for dinner a couple months back. Overpriced, imo.

The only one of these that I still know of in Baton Rouge proper is the King Buffet on Bluebonnet by the mall.
