I use the the Lose It app for the iPhone. You can set a goal weight, it will give you your calorie intake to reach that goal and pretty decent calorie and weight tracking feature.

Got back in to the gym, had a pretty upper body workout. 1 minute rest between sets to help keep heart rate up. Yesterday I ate 1432 claories.

This mornings weigh-in: 232.4/223.0

Thanks Myth. This thread has helped me because usually if I failed early on, I just failed my self. The daily reports and hearing from everyone else is encouraging.

Checking in:
1 m 84 cm weighing in at 81kg. I ate a brownie yesterday, so I did 100 pushups before bed and then stared at my abs in the mirror. I will try harder today not to stray.

I got mine at Target for about $5. It works fine for me, but it's kind of small. There are others that are around $15 to $20 at Target, also.

Here ya go

I've had it for about a year and have had 0 problems. You can find it cheaper on other sites. I paid under $20 for mine.

I use these two: nutritiondata.com and calorieking.com

I keep a piece of paper with a list of common fruits and veggies I eat with the amount calories in ounce of each. I use it with my food scale and I know exactly how many calories I'm taking in.

Ok everyone here is a great replacement for chips. Buy soft wheat tortillas and cut into strips. Bake them on a stone at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.

Food scale? I have a Salton digital, very accurate and easy to use. It has 2 limitations, the readout in ounces gives you fractions instead of decimals, no big deal. It has an 11 pound limit, that sounds like a lot, but if you are getting the number of servings and need the difference between an empty soup pot and a full one, a lot of pots weigh 8-10 pounds.

Sounds like a good idea. I will probably use the low carb tortillas since I try to avoid carbs as much as possible.

Thanks. My goal is 199. I have to crack the 200lb mark. I will then reevaluate and see where I need to be.

Lose it is an excellent app, and it's free. I've used it for a month now, and it's really helpful.
