I wish I could combine the two. Chick Fil A's chicken is much, much better IMO. I'd take Cane's fries & toast over those awful waffle fries. Throw in Cane's sauce & Chick Fil A's milk shakes and you'd have the "perfect" fast food chicken restaurant.

Fixing to get a couple of Zaxby's opened up in Bossier in the next few weeks...first one opens next week. I know the owner and will most likely give my busieness to him when we're in the the mood.

wonder how many long-term employees know this? Working for a restaurant rip off.

I doubt they'd care. I don't even like cane's, but its not his fault he marketed his concept better and became more successful.

Pretty sure Todd got the idea from seeing a Guthrie's while he was attending school at UGA. He changed things up a little and brought the concept back to BR...wish I'd have thought of it.

I became aware of this not too long ago. Kinda lost a little respect for Todd Graves after that. I wonder how many long-term employees know this? Working for a restaurant rip off.
ETA: Originality. It has weight.

You get worse by the post. and more jealous too. So who's wallet has more weight--Guthrie's or Graves?

I'll go with Cane's. I get the envie for it a couple times a year. The only time I've eaten CFA was as a passenger. It's good, I just would pick a different place if it was up to me.

Why are you so irked? Is Graves your friend too? You've been targeting me ever since I failed to fall down and start worshiping your friends' restaurant, Table. Get over it.

I was agreeing with another poster that Raising Canes is a ripoff of Guthrie's. This is a fact not an opinion. Yes, I agree with you that Graves has a fatter wallet, but what does that have to do with what was said? So are you saying since Graves made more money with the idea it's not a ripoff?

Guthries

Cane's. Look familiar? It ain't just familiar, it's a straight up ripoff.

To be quite honest, I was a little jealous of Graves early on. A chicken finger and Ore-Ida fry joint being so successful. Are you kidding me? Who wouldn't be jealous of that? But here's the key. I thought it was an original concept. Far from it as it turns out. So the star sort of dimmed at that point. And I'm sure I ain't the only one that feels that way.

There is no best burger in BR.

However, in my opinion, it's Fleming's or Barcadia.

Some people also like to talk up Superior, Mason's, Riverside Patty, and Burgersmith.

That Canes picture must be from 10 years ago. I can't remember the last time I saw fingers that big at canes.

Yeah, but at Cane's, you can substitute toast for slaw. Does Guthrie's boast that kind of innovation?
