I love your list...except for Mosca’s. It’s a RAGING overpriced disappointment now. Unfortunately, my family still insists on going there due to wistful palate syndrome. Last visit, I paid over $25 for the driest chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life.

I agree 100% - I catch a lot of flak for it, but I think Mosca's is one of the most overrated places I've ever been to. I think people love it mainly for nostalgia, not because of the food quality. It just screams "meh."

I know chains get shite on here, but I’ve been to Cracker Barrel probably a hundred times since I was 12 and can’t think of a “bad” meal. Maybe a few were on the “meh” level, but never bad. In fact, usually the food is delicious and fresh.

Mosca's very much is overrated, but one can still formulate a Top 10 best dishes at Mosca's list. It is good to see our old friend niknik back on the forum.
One restaurant that has never failed me is Impastato's. It is Louisiana's all-time best restaurant. My all-time Louisiana restaurant list:
10. La Riviera, not to be confused with French Riviera Spa
9. Gautreau's (20 years ago; currently it is not very good)
8. Galatoire's
7. Shogun
