I agree with that but he's an ambitious dude
I sure hope he sticks the landing because if the food is as good as I think it will be it will be a most welcome addition to a food scene getting slowly better

the two preview dinners I went to were incredible

the place looks really good inside and it should be a comfortable and fun place to go.
only thing is see as an issue is the parking lot had to layout kind of weird because of site restrictions but hopefully a full lot is a sign of success

Are you a GC on the build or a friend/investor? Or neither?

Looking forward to checking it out

That's an enormous menu. Never understand people who want to combine BBQ and seafood in 1 restaurant

Seafood can be made on the spot so none is wasted, unlike good BBQ

So their choice of location had to do with being next to the cooking school? Will culinary students be working there?

Catering will keep them in business, but for fricks sake, that location is weak for a restaurant. But then again, it looks like they are bringing their A game.

It's my guess that they will be full on catering at the end of two years.

ETA: But then again, it could be a huge success. Damn, that location has me puzzled.

Location isn't too bad. If the food is good they will do fine. They have marketed well as everyone know about it and it's not even open yet. Had a friend eat there for the preview and said it was outstanding. If the service is great they will have a good following as the only good BBQ place in the parish.

dude it's on Jefferson accessible by airline in both directions, coursey and Sherwood
there are thousands of people living in that area and not section 8 trash

there's like six ways to get to it from every direction

whether they take off or not won't have anything to do with location
