AC Shadows is surprisingly good

Got it last week for 10 bucks and it's a decent game for the money. The graphics are great and the story is very decent as well. Still not sure how it links up to the overarching AC storyline but I binge played the game this weekend and got pretty far in

I liked it when it came out, but having gone back to play it, I think it's by far the weakest of the RPG AC games.
Of all the games set in open world Japan recently released, this is probably the most bland, boring version.
The cities feel very copy/paste and are mostly devoid of NPC activity. I do not feel that this is entirely due to the setting.
The side activities are very bland/repetitive.
Yasuke is kind of a more interesting character storyline-wise, but he is a character made for people who hate playing AC games.

It was okay but playing with Yasuke was not really fun due to how he controlled. It was like playing as a Samuri Marshawn Lynch inside a China shop.
It is a really great looking game, especially with the changing seasons.

I trudged through about 75%, and deinstalled, haven't thought about playing since.
