Really regretting my STR build now, dex weapons seem much better.
Bleed is overpowered as frick.
You could use Blood Grease on your Strength weapon, although it won't proc as quickly if you're not using a fast Dex weapon. You could also just use a dagger in your off-hand with low stat requirements that will proc bleed.

I only remember DS2 having that feature.
DS3 had it, Rosaria's covenant
I'd bet my life that ER has it too

I’m not sure how far you are in, but the uchi can be found almost immediately. No reason to reroll unless you went really far into strength. The uchi has D scaling in both STR and DEX. Put on the bleed ashes of war and have fun.

I have really noticed how stingy enemies are with souls. I killed mergit and was like, thats all i get??
The enemies on horseback give a decent amount. As do the giants that roam around the world. But yeah, it feels pretty stingy compared to previous FromSoft games.

Crazy thing about this game. My 11 year old daughter is playing her own playthrough, we are both level 30 and have had completely, 100% different experiences.
It's wild to watch her or compare our maps.
for this game being a daughter/dad playthrough
She already took down Margrid and the first dragon and I'm just exploring taking out side bosses and leveling up my crystal sword and adding spells

Best cheesy Rune Farm I've found is the little short guy Mobs outside in Caelid that are just outside of the spot you go to before you get sent to the Round Table.
They drop ~1k each and you can do a really fast sneaky backstab route that can net you like 6k/5min.
You gotta make sure you back stab if you're lower level, though, because they will one shot you. Their attack patterns are very forgiving, though. Feels like FromSoft put them there as an XP farm.

I have 35 hours of play time and I have probably explored 20% of the map. This game is massive

That's awesome. Was BOTW this big for anyone that played it? Just curious to see how comparable the two games are in size.

I am at level 40 and have only defeated one of the main demigod bosses lol. I beat Demon and Dark Souls Remastered by level 75-80 in both games

Just got to my first divine tower after to defeating Godrick. Are these runes reusable or are they a one time thing?
Posted on 2/28/22 at 6:39 pm to Easye921
It works like humanity does in dark souls. They only activate once you use an arc rune, and the effect lasts till death

Yes. BOTW was probably a smidge bigger IMO but this is denser

I somehow managed to beat Godrick on my first try. Honestly, Margit was much more difficult. But thanks to another user, I went with a Blood Ashe of War on my Uchigatana and just shredded him. Bleed is seriously busted in this game lol.

Theres some kind of time warp coded in this thing… I play for half an hour and 3 hours pass.

I was using a plus 6 magic uchi and a crystal sword, but just switched to a magic katana that you get for beating Magma Wyrm. I went a leveled up to 50 and my prisoner character is getting really good.
In trying some new spells like carian slicer, glintblade phalanx, both of which are pretty good, but I still like
Rock sling and glintstone pebble I think it's called.
I beat the dragon at the beginning, magma Wyrm, and martyr logarius tonight. I'm probably gonna go after the second legacy dungeon tomorrow.

Tip for everyone. Make sure you do Fia and Ranni’s quest lines or you’ll miss out on a massive amount of hidden content and areas
