You're at 90 hours and haven't hit Altus Plateau yet?

I am about 90 hours in and I have rode the horse, but I am still between Limgrave and Caria trying to find everything to defeat and find everything. I have only been in Calib twice to find the medallion and to get the moonveil katana. I have mainly been focusing on building my character for when it gets harder.

I’ve been fighting her for 4 hours straight. Probably the shittiest boss in the series

Finally beat her. Jesus Christ never doing that again.

I beat him. No summons of any kind. Just me, my greatsword, and my loincloth.

Just when I think I am getting good at this game it brings me back down to reality. Making my way through Leyndell, took down the Gargoyle and the Ulcerated Tree Spirit, but these damn Knights everywhere are ruthless.

Stay where you are. Explore Limgrave, find a weapon you like, level up a bit before tackling stormveil castle. There are many hours of content available before you take on the castle. Knock out those caves and field bosses until you feel comfortable with combat in general, and your weapon in particular.

Had a productive weekend. I beat the Magam Wyrm Markar, Shardbearer Radahn, Mimic Tear, Goldfrey the first lord and Shardbearer Margott.

Hardest of those was Radahn, he was a beast. But I went toe to toe with him and smelt his ruin upon the lands between.

I am stuck on that big redheaded ice giant right now. His reach and earthquake are hard to contend with. I will figure something out.

Radahn was a pain for sure.

I feel underleveled for the whole Mountaintop,, I am only 89 and need to get to around 100, the boulder farming takes too long, anyone have a mid-late game farming area?

Go south to the weeping peninsula. It's basically made for the opening area they just tell you to follow the grace light for the story, but the whole southern continent is the best place to start.

Oh yes. Here you go LINK
I get about 32k runes every 45 seconds or so with Golden Scarab on. You'll get probably 25k without it. I hit the giant bird with rock sling to aggro it off of the ledge and then make my way down the ledge hitting the little turtle dudes with my blasphemous blade special attack. Then run back up to the grace and repeat.

you talking about the Giants Mountaintop or Mt. Gelmar? If you made it to the Giants at level 89 then I'm certainly impressed. And yeah...that shite is hard if you aren't over 100 or so. I was probably closer to 120 when I was there.

after beating Radahn did you make sure to venture north from the site of grace that shows up after the fight? I think there's a catacombs or tunnel in the side of the cliff up there that has a pretty sweet collection of Ashes and a spell.

thats what i did, good advice.

loving this game, glad i decided to try it despite previous soulborne apathy.

my only gripe is i think ive cheated myself just a little. maybe spent too much time grinding and exploring outside of the main story. Am wrecking house. Actually destroyed godfrey and margot last night on the first attempts. in the capital. From what i read from you guys though next sessions will push the skill level up.

no, I did not. I will have to give it a gander tonight.

I have played for 134 hours and I have only completed 27% of the game.

I'm embarrassed at the number of hours I've put into it.

I didn't realize there was a catacombs up there until I was trying to figure out what I needed to get for platinum. One of the items up there is a legendary ash remains.

I found that because of one of those statue's that points to the direction of a cave/catacombs or whatever. Followed the finger (but hole) and realized it was waaaay over there.
