It really was. Still probably top 2-3 online communities ever. The amount of hours I sunk into the multiplayer of that game was stupid.

That's interesting. The MP for 3 wasn't all that impressive, and I never touched it with 4. Different beast for Insticts?

Definitely. Instincts had much more normal TDM modes. It was a more standard MP set up. Maps were much bigger and better and they had vehicles and stuff. They also had the Predator game mode, where it was 1v7. The predator had a P90 and could see the trails of the other players. Was really fast and could jump really high. I think it had 8v8 games as well. I seem to remember more than just 4v4.
Instincts MP game modes
Yea the MP in 3 and 4 was pretty meh. Instincts was amazing. That was my biggest disappointment when 3 came out. The MP was pretty bad. Map editor in instincts was great too, so you got a lot of fun MP games in created maps.

Once you open up Dutch's area and find the first vendor/shop, all that stuff should be available for you. Go to the weapons and scroll to the bottom of each category. THere should be some weapons with check marks already by them. Same with the clothes.

I don't believe there would be enough surface area to allow such pixel density. We just don't have the technology yet. 1080i at best.
