If you donate furs/hides and whatnot to the camp do they save them there for when you are ready to craft certain items? Or can you only craft things from Pearson if you currently have it on you?

I'm assuming I need to just keep playing the story to unlock more guns? Most of the guns in the catalog have a red X.

If you donate the skin to camp (as long as it’s 3 stars) it’ll be stored for use later. You don’t need to have it currently in your inventory

Yes generally. Most stuff in the game that is locked will get unlocked through the story.

I found the white arabian horse within 5 minutes of getting to the lake and was able to tame him. Rode back to camp and kept leaving my old horse in the dust when galloping.
