Can’t say I ever made it that long in a dynasty

I'm assuming this is the Mendella effect, but I thought they "only" lasted 30 years anyway.

I’m currently toy in year 2060 in Revamped. Trying to get through it before release just to say I did it.

In ‘14 you could go to 60 years.

I never really make it past 10 years or so myself.

I'm not sure either. I wonder if it has something to do with stat tracking for that long? I would guess very few people ever go past 30 years so that is probably a factor.

I don't think I've ever gone past 10 and rarely made it that far. If it's true that it will take 5-10 years to turn around a 1 star program (versus the 2 or 3 in the past) I will probably go a lot further and sim a lot more.

I typically take LSU to a championship first playing all or most of the games. Then I'll either keep that going a few years stacking my team and simming most games until I get a season loaded with studs everywhere. Then I'll play a few games that season (simming the rest) on my way to the championship.

After that I'm typically bored and want something new. That's when I go rebuild a 1 star program. I'll probably do my first one with Teambuilder using the Minnesota State Screaming Eagles with coach Hayden Fox. I'm guessing recruiting out of Minnesota will be a long process!

Yeah i guess I should have clarified. I don't mean spending 60 years at one school. I mean spending 60 yesrs coaching. I like bouncing from school to school after 5 yesrs once a school is it a 5 or six stat level after a couple of national titles.

I used to build up a team with high 90s rankings on both sides and huge winning streaks over multiple seasons, then go to another program while always making sure to schedule my previous school to see how long it would take me to beat them.

I saw somewhere that they did tracking with dynasties from 2014 and only 5% of them ever made it past 10 years.

Yea 8-10 years is about as far as I've ever made it

I usually would play maybe one season to where there's no more real life players and then just start another Dynasty

I always thought the real fun started when all the real life players left and your team is made up of only players you actually recruited.

I wonder how accurate that is seeing how they shut the servers down years ago. And considering we've had to wait a decade for another installment I'd bet that the percentage is way higher.

Most likely on Friday again. I’ve heard that it will either be about the presentation or about dynasty.

It's usually a couple seasons after I land a big-time head coaching gig. It gets a little stale for me when my entire team is 95+ overall and we're steamrolling everyone.

That’s when I really dial up the shenanigans…. Can’t call any running plays, can’t call any passing plays, rotate my entire lineup in/out on alternating series, use my opponent’s playbooks, can only run between the tackles, can only run outside of the tackles, can’t throw to anyone less than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage, can’t throw to anyone more than 10 yards past the Los, can only call offensive plays where the formation takes my QB under center, have to punt on third down, can’t put at all, have to do onside kicks after tds and kick off out of bounds after fgs, can only give the ball to my wrs on running plays and only give the ball to my backs on passing plays.

Gotta spice it up.

Maybe I am expecting too much but watching the deep dive and these player models look pretty bad.

Stadiums and features look ok though.

1: They all wear helmets
2: There are like 11k student athletes
3: There is a limit to how big the game can be

Some of them look good. Some of them won't. It's not a big deal really.
