While the rest of the earth has bought into this “pandemic” shite. Thank goodness golf courses are open!
I finished July with a 73 w/6 birdies in a wolf game. Sharpen your game baws! Club championship season is coming!

Played Bayou Oaks South yesterday. Cart Path only but was pretty dry considering all the rain. Course is in good shape, my game not so much. Guy in my group started double, bogey, bogey then ended up with a 74.

Played wetlands yesterday. Slow round but course in good shape. Fairways nice and lush with surprisingly fast greens. 18 is under repair so is a par 3.

Bizarrely, we played match play switching partners every 6 holes. No handicaps.
I shot 90, but had some timely holes and the right partner, and somehow won the money.
I played well last week and lost money.
It is what it is.

Just shot my PR. 83 at bayou oaks south. Super pumped. But my god, the round took 5.5 hours. Not exaggerating

Got in 36 today. 80/77. 4 birdies total. Inconsistent as ever. Not many GIRs.

77 at Beau Pre in Natchez yesterday and doubled two par 3’s like an idiot.

45 on the front, to be fair we had a group in front of us that had two 6 year olds and if fricked up any kind of rhythm but still.
I thought I had something epic coming.
I also had a weird situation, the group in front with the kids waived us on to play through then after we hit our shots and got to our balls they changed their mind and said no we are gonna hit again.
I’ve never had that happen.

78 @ Denham Springs CC/The Pines @ North Park.
First time playing there, reminiscent of Webb in its worse days. Lot of St. Aug in fairways and elsewhere, rough tee boxes, decent greens but haven’t been cut in a while. Had to smash most puts to get them to the hole. Cool little layout.
