Congrats on his -1 round today. Where he’s now 6 back. Maybe he’ll have a tournament where he shoots under par for the entire thing. Something he’s only accomplished 50% of the time this year. Thank you for proving my point.

Trying to watch LIV but I just can’t. The production is so bad.

Totally disagree. You get 10x as many golf shots per hour with LIV than PGA. And I like the pylon showing full leader board

I don’t understand why most people say the same thing. I think they’re watching & expecting it to be just like watching a pga event.

I have no problem with “The production”. Two good reporters on course & three good analysts in studio.

LIV recently launched their “any hole, any shot” highlights on their LIV Golf+ app where you can watch all 70 of Henrik’s shots from yesterday

You can't be serious with this comment.

The girl course reporter is just terrible and Feherty is a fish out of water in the booth.

I believe that Henrik is the player that lost most of his money to a ponzi scheme before he joined LIV.

I’ve watched plenty of these tournaments. They have never affected my experience watching in a negative way. Feherty is usually pretty entertaining

So do you understand it or don’t you?

Most golf fans have preferences in how they watch a golf tournament and how they want golf presented to them on TV. Rapid fire golf with a party vibe isn’t what many golf fans want out of a production. If you do, that’s fine, but you don’t need to lie and say you don’t understand why so many people have the same opinion because you do, in fact, understand why they have that opinion. You just don’t hold the same opinion. Everyone isn’t going to like LIV regardless of whether you do

I guess we need ole baw to come & confirm that’s the reason. He didn’t give a reason so I’m assuming that’s why he doesn’t like it.

Apparently some don’t like the on course reporters or Feherty. That’s more of a fair reason than simply saying “I don’t like it cause it’s different than the PGA Tour”

Nothing wrong with the quality of the golf.

Chambo has the crowd fired up.

I have even gotten use to the in your face signage and music.

IMO only, the Announcers on course and the booth are amatuerish at best.

A lot of people may forget that Gary McCord made Feherty who he is.

They played off each other so well.

Feherty is great with one liners, but he is not strong enough to carry a broadcast.

Like I said, just my opinion.

Golf has been consumed a certain way for the entirety of time it’s been televised. It’s not exclusive to what the PGA Tour does. It’s what every tour/league/event has done since always. That method wasn’t broken to a lot of people. They like/liked it the way it is and don’t like how LIV presents the sport in their own way.

No one needs to explain to you why they don’t like LIV just like you don’t need to explain why you do. I don’t know why you insist on having these circular arguments repeatedly, like people need to justify their personal preferences to you for them to hold any value.

I’ll give you one example. For some baseball games, you have the option of watching the game through the ump cam. I hate it and will not watch a game that way despite enjoying watching baseball games through the traditional angle. I have no real reason for hating ump cam but I do. It’s not enjoyable to me.

Buddy you’re the one who felt the need to chime in with the “do you understand it or not?”

I completely understand LIV is not for everyone. They’ve said as much. They’re trying to do it differently to attract a different audience. I just find it silly when people complain that it’s different than a PGA Tour broadcast.

So if someone said they think it’s silly you like the LIV broadcast because it’s different, then that would hold the same value to you right?

And again, it’s not a “PGA tour broadcast.” The PGA tour doesn’t broadcast golf any different than any other golf event in the history of broadcast television, that is except how LIV broadcasts golf. The PGA Tour isn’t unique in how they broadcast golf nor did they invent the wheel in that regard.

Well when you ask a stupid and dishonest question, what exactly did you expect. You argue these stupid points repeatedly on this board as if people need to validate their preferences to your liking

I didn’t ask a question. I simply responded to someone who said they think the production is terrible with my own experience/opinions of the production. As someone who watches LIV Golf with an open mind, it’s not terrible. Thats it. It clearly bothers you that I post my own opinions though

Let me answer. The production is literally not very good. Whatever I was watching barely qualifies for high def. The graphics are just over the top. Like some sort of 90’s video game.

This is just a personal preference.
