Played GCOH Saturday and it’s in great shape. $70 for a 1:30 tee time wasn’t bad either.

Cinco has good fairways. Greens are pretty bad. They have a fungus or got bit by the last freeze.

Augusta Pines

Played there for the first time in early March and wasn’t impressed. A lot of courses aren’t in great shape in early spring but for $100 not worth it. I did like the 17th and 18th final holes.

I play Augusta Pines about once a month with a Member, even with the discount it’s over priced. The owner also owns Gleannloch Pines, which is always in good shape.

I played Gleannloch for the first time about 2 months ago. I was impressed. We played at 9 am on a Saturday for $66. Five years ago, I might say that price matches the course. Today, I think that's a steal. It's a decent course in good shape. We also didn't see anyone else on the course until the 8th hole. It was 40 degrees outside. So, that was probably why, but I'd still like to get out there again soon.

The only drawback for me was not being able to book something online. It's a bit of a hassle having to call to figure out availability instead of just seeing it on a website.

3 of us played Geannloch four years ago and they put this crusty 40ish guy that looked like he crawled out of a trash can with a 1970 set of Hogans.

After watching him shoot a smooth 68, we bought him a couple of beers afterwards.

We still laugh about it.

The guy missed 3 five footers for birdie or he would have shot 65.

Played at Cino Ranch today.

The greens have rebounded and they are rolling fine.

I haven't played Bay Forrest in years.

Good to see that it's still around.

Played Tour 18 yesterday and the course is in really good shape the place of play though was terrible. It took a five hours to finish. I expect it though out there at those places though so it wasn't a shock to me. The funny thing is though we were talking with the starter before we teed of and he asked if we noticed the prices where going up and they hope that it would help keep the hackers away. Well we were paired up with two hackers and the people in front of us and behind us where hackers. I was laughing my arse off the hole round my buddy did not think it was that humorous

I've been playing a good bit on weekends the last few weeks.

Wildcat lakes is in really good shape.

Quail Valley was in decent shape, I think the course is pretty fun and I do agree I like it's 19th hole.

Cypresswood Traditions is slowly becoming my go-to course.

I'll never play Hermann again lol

I've been trying to get on at Gus but it's always booked. Good to see for them.

Memorial finally went 90 degree rule but have recently punched their greens so it made for an adventure.

I agree with the poster above that Tour18, while in pretty good shape, played a little slow.

I made the trip down to Moody Gardens in Galveston and the greens and fairways are absolutely pristine. It's windy of course and #8-#11 is an absolute gauntlet but still really fun. On #8 you have water on right, left, and long..

Another little trip is Wilderness in Lake Jackson. Played over a month ago and it was in pretty good shape and a fun course with good scenery

Played Cinco Ranch today for the first time. It was a really fun course. Played terrible on the back nine luckily I was paired with a local and he helped me on shot placements. The course is in great shape a little messy around the cart paths and the sand traps have a ton of little pebbles in them. Had a club sandwich before I teed off and it was a solid sandwich.
