How often do you have your clubs regripped?

Some say each year - some say as needed. What is your experience?

almost every winter around Christmas.
I do my own regrips so it's a little more cost effective.

I'm using 4 year old leather grips and they are just like they were brand new.

At least annually, depending on rounds played, and grip composition.

Annually. I buy knock off grips and re grip them myself, costs me around $60

I have leather wraps. I forgot how old they are, but they are still in great shape. Maybe when arthritis sets in I'll regrip. I don't use a glove either.

Every year. Tour velvet round no cord

I clean them sometimes.
Some grips last 150 rounds.
Some only last 50 rounds.
I usually get new grips every 12 months or so.

I had a buddy of mine who did club repair work. He did mine every year. Cost me a 6 pack of Bud plus his cost for the grips.

I don't seem to keep a set of clubs long enough to wear the grips out lol...
But when I do, I change the grips once a year.

Everybody should do this. It’s way too easy to ever pay someone to do. Buy them on EBay with a regrip kit. You can even get a cheap vice on EBay. I regret having paid someone to change grips for the last 20 years.
To the OP, about every six months with wedges and seven iron. About once a year with all other clubs.

I play over a hundred rounds a year and use PURE grips - I can go 3 years or more with the PURE grips - they are great
