FP really needs to lose some weight.

Anthony Kim experiment is officially over.
Actually, I’m starting to think it’s not. Maybe he has a multi-year contract.
ETA: not sure what it is, but he will be back in 2025. He posted “update coming soon”

That's kind of wild, I actually thought that was going to just be a rumor or fall through. That's the first match like that that I'm actually kind of excited to see.

Rahm’s focus shifts to playing 3 events on DP Tour to remain eligible for 2025 Ryder Cup.
He’s playing his 3rd event this weekend at the Andalucia Masters, T-6 after 2 rounds.

Looks like Finau is likely headed to LIV in order to help feed his gazillion kids.

Does finau have major exemptions beyond this year? Obviously I get setting yourself up financially, especially where he is in his career. But he seems at risk of not playing a whole lot more major golf.

I never have to watch that rotten putting stroke again.

Maybe he does go but anytime someone pulls out of an event it's rumored that they are headed to LIV. But just looking it up, for 2025 he's exempt for all the majors except the PGA, which he would get in based off world rankings. Can't see anything past 2025.

It’s that time of year to get rumors & roster movements going.
At the moment, Pat Perez no longer has a team. Thomas Pieters was traded to fill the 4th spot on Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces team.
I think there are 7 full time spots available as of now.
Sergio recently said that Eugenio Chacarra won’t be returning to his Fireballs GC team.

Exempt for everything but the PGA via his top 30 FedEx Cup finish and T3 at Pinehurst. He'll likely get a special invite to the PGA (I would guess) if he doesn't get an exemption.
He does more or less fit the LIV mold for the most part, though - 5 - 7 year elite player whose best years are likely behind him to some degree and (if you believe the headlines) needs the money. Obviously guys like Rahm and Cam Smith were outliers.

is this because of the lawsuit he's involved in?

Some other names being floated out there with Finau are Thomas Detry to Cleeks GC & Adam Scott to the Aussie team.
It sounds like Cam Smith hasn’t agreed to bring back Matt Jones in 2025

What happens with Bubba Watson since he was a captain? Wasn't he in the relegation zone?
They need to offer Joel Dahmen. Guy is kind of struggling to get by on tour so could use the money but also a likeable/fan favorite.

I believe I've heard that they have stipulations for making exceptions when it makes financial sense. So, Bubba being the face of the team makes him safe.

Adam Scott to the Aussie team.
I doubt it. He is actually on the committee trying to come to an agreement with PIF.
Posted on 12/3/24 at 4:52 pm to TDTOM
Since the PGA/PIF negotiations have stalled, there have been reports about DP Tour & LIV partnering up and allowing LIV golfers to play more of their events and the schedules are better aligned.
That may be enticing to someone like Scott
