PGA TGL - Indoor golf announced. Tiger woods and Rory first to commit. Would you watch?

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new TMRW Sports venture announces TGL, "a tech-infused golf league" in partnership with the PGA Tour. Starting in 2024, there will be 15 televised Monday night matches featuring six teams of three players each. A promise of 18 holes in two hours.

I'm not gonna watch them, or anyone besides myself with some buddies, play golf on a sim.

Why a sim? Why not do a golf stadium using a structure like Top Golf (or others like Top Golf)?

Yeah I was picturing them hitting wedge shots in the superdome. That would have been awesome. Well maybe not feasible in the dome because of the roof lol

This is sad. I can't even wrap my brain around how terrible of an idea this is. they had a player's meeting, and this is what they came up with?

No, this isn't what the player's meeting was about. The player's meeting is way more in its infancy than this. This has clearly been in the works for a while. It also seems like a terrible idea.
I follow a few Youtube golfers. There are two types of videos that I will immediately turn off; rounds on simulators and What's In The Bag. Golf simulator rounds just seem incredibly boring. What's In the Bag videos are just long advertisements.

They already have a show where people do put put golf but it’s also a physical obstacle course. “Holy Moley” it’s kinda funny and entertaining.
