Yeah, my driver speed is around 110 and my 7 iron goes 165. I never hit it clean though...

Like i said, don’t take offense to it, the juiced clubs serve a purpose. Your 7 iron loft is that of my 6 iron.

I just got the XT driver 7.5 degree, +1 inch length with a light, counterbalanced xs shaft.

No problem.

I know lofts vary and each club plays differently.

I use to swing my driver as hard as I could then go find it.

Maybe I have matured from that mindset lol.

I will say that the MMT Shafts in my irons are very stable and responsive.

I've never owned anything from PXG, but a new 0211 7 wood for $92 total is tough to beat

I have the 0211 7 wood and I put a Red Ventus Shaft in it.

Not trying to create hyperbole on everything PXG, but it is my favorite club.

I’m really interested in getting some of their new blades…

… in two months when they’re made available for pennies on the dollar lol

I understand the sentiment by the statement, but does the same thoughts hold true when Taylormade and Callaway drop their prices every year ?

I don't know for sure but I assume that PXG wants to get as many clubs in hand as possible to promote trial.

Still a huge chunk of the golfing population doesn't know what PXG is.

Of course there are 2 separate lines, the premium priced 0311 and the budget minded 0211.

The Gen5 irons are the newest model.

Next time that I visit the Houston store, I will ask the manager that I know about this strategy.

Hell yeah it does.

I’m a pure bargain bin golfer. Technology is so minutely incremental these days, I don’t even look at new gear.

Everything in my bag is either golfwrx BST or previous models bought new at a huge discount.

Taking a chance on a new driver. Gotta be better than my TM Burner from 2009 right, lol.

Just bought the 7 wood as well. Never hit one before, but at that price why not.

You really see these as being similar? Hell, go look at certified used prices.

I'm in for the 0211 9 degree driver and 0211 25 degree hybrid. The driver will hopefully replace my Ping G20 10.5 degree that I tend to hit baloons with and the Hybrid will hopefully replace my five iron that I don't hit very consistently.

One thing that help me take a chance on PXG is that they off a 60 day no hassle money back guarantee. If you don’t like them, send them back and get your money back.

Example: A TaylorMade mark down isn't the same as a PXG discount.

Most golf shops don't know what to do with PXG clubs that may be traded in wether new or used.

According to PGA Used Club values.

A 500.00 TM Stealth that has been hit once now has a value of 214.00

LINK

I don't think buying golf clubs expecting a decent return is realistic.

Taylormade is now delivering the Stealth with the black face for 600.00

Like I said before, PXG clubs aren't for everyone just like I don't care for TM products.

Parson personal business model is don't act or react like other club companies.

Play the clubs that works for you.

Just ordered a 0211 7W since was only option left and the hybrids were in left only.

I'll fit in with the Samsung crowd at my local course now. May consider the 0811 X driver and woods pending how I like the 0211 model.

Not one thing I have ever posted is about the clubs other than one overwhelmingly positive one.

And it's been a disaster with every step.

First of all, thanks for the constructive dialog and discussion. This is how it should be on here.

When I said it wasn't for everyone, I didn't mean you specifically.

I found PXG to be like the Dallas Cowboys, people really love them or they hate them.

A guy in my group of 8 has tried my irons several times and he crushes them, but he won't buy them because the commercials bother him ..

I am curious as to your opinion on how PXG is failing though .

During Covid their logistics dept did a great job of keeping product in the pipeline and kept delivery times to a week to the customer.

Their marketing strategies to younger golfers in College and mini tours is a carbon copy of Pings green grass development program.

I believe that PXG is currently the only company that has and promotes the Heroes and First Responders discount programs.

PXG is in a strong position with capital and they have a aggressive store opening plan.
