Do not play at TimberCreek in Friendswood All greens are dead. They gave us a coupon for $10 off the next green fee. I won’t be back for at least 3 months.

That place was pretty shabby when I played there a few months ago. I used to enjoy it but greens have gotten worse. Good to know.

Yup. I like the lay out and it used to be one of the best in area. I played it today and Jesus it was bad.

That’s a shame. Great layout with some really fun holes. Hope they can get them back soon. Did they say what happened?

Greens are crap at a lot of courses right now.

Cypress Lakes and Greatwood are painted dirt.

I forgot to ask them what happened. They may have just killed them to get new grass? I know little about greens keeping. Like someone else was saying they were losing their greens before the freeze.

I can assure you they didn’t spray them to kill them and get new grass. The freeze has hurt a lot of us. I can promise you the guy at Timbercreek is working his arse off to get the greens back. I know him personally and he is taken it harder than you can give it.
