For what, golf? Don't try to turn these guys into the UFC. Most of them would be peeing their pants.
He doesn't have to be in good enough shape to fight a UFC fighter, just doughy Poulter.

He doesn't have to. Life will remind you quickly enough about how much fight can be in the least expected person. Even in the UFC.

Shut the frick up you retard. Golf is growing at a huge clip like never before. There are plenty of young people getting into golf. This isn’t 1994 and you couldn’t be more wrong.
You’re highly handicapped.

I really do want a Tour VS LIV ryder cup style event
In a way, this is how the Super Bowl was started. It would be fun to watch. I do think the PGA wins, but I think it’s closer than you would expect.

He is right. Look at country club memberships over the last 3 years. I’m sure Covid has a lot to do with it, but clubs are full and shares to join are getting more and more expensive. Ours doubled in the last 4 years. Over 100k now. It is insane. I would never pay that, but there are a bunch of new 30 something members that had to come
Up with it. That experience is happening everywhere.
Club corp just doubled dues in many of their courses because they are beyond capacity and members couldn’t get times.

Part of it is the lack of courses.
In the Houston metro area, in the past 20+ years over 25 courses have closed.
Mostly due to the fact that the land was more valuable for housing development. Great Courses like River Ridge closed due to Harvey.

I live a little over an hour from Myrtle Beach and there has been several nice courses closed for more housing development.

Maybe they're pissed about playing in a LIV hole event.

Yeah, nah. The problem is a bunch of geriatrics clogging up memberships.

That’s not my experience. Maybe you should look for a new club. Or perhaps you aren’t a member of a club and your perception is based upon something else?

Pretty ignorant statement, since those folks have probably supported the Club in good times and bad.
A lot of Seniors move into a social memberships which really supports a clubs bottom line.

Apparently you can’t get into a club so you are pissed at the older members. If you were in a club you would realize how silly you sound. Golf is as popular as ever….both young and old.
