The old saying goes,
There are two things that don’t last,
Dogs chasing cars and
Pros putting for pars.

I know some people that knew him at Oklahoma State. I am glad he's playing well this weekend.

What happened to Matthew Wolfe

He got disqualified from the Masters for turning in an incorrect scorecard card, vanished, then resurfaced as the PGAs new uncriticizable spokesperson for athlete mental health.

Look, i get it. Depression etc is very real and devastating for some people. But do we really need a 22 year old to “bravely speak out” with things like the following, and I quote….

“Whether your a golfer or a basketball player whatever, athletes just deal with more pressure and stress than regular people.”

OK chachi. Whatever you say.

Do you travel 30+ weeks a year only getting paid if you perform better than the other world class talent around you with the threat of relegation?

Not to mention, you're 22 and subject to daily Covid tests and mandated to go directly back to your hotel room and get Uber eats.

They make a shite load of money, so I don't feel sorry for them, but professional golf is a pretty lonely endeavor, even at the highest level.

And you think that this is more pressure and stress than “normal people “ deal with??

Talk about the Twilight Zone.

Yeah, I think most people go to a regular job where they really don't do anything of importance and are going to get a paycheck unless they start jerking off in the break room.

No one judges their every move, they don't have managers pulling them a dozen different directions to try to make a buck, they don't feel the guy in the cube next to them breathing down their neck trying to take their job.

Again, they make a lot of money for those stressors, but that doesnt make it easy, especially for a kid that left college a year early and had a lot of external pressure for immediate success.

These nerds would step on their own dick if it were long enough on a $7 snake putt. However, they can perform a psychoanalysis on a pro golfer.

Im of no illusion that if I left my job they could replace me or keep on going without me.

Do you think what you do is that important?

The guy is 22 years old and has a million people pulling him a million different ways all while having to spend 30 weeks in a hotel room getting q tips shoved into his brain.

When you were 22, if you went to college, you were in college chasing pussy skipping class

Not surprising based on your stance. Also not surprising that there’s no worry on your part about how the kids will get fed, and clothed, or how does the mortgage etc get paid, etc etc after losing your job

I see where your takes don’t come from now.

I have no problem with Wolf and am not trying to psychoanalyze him. Because there is nothing to psychoanalize about a 22 year old dealing with home sickness and coming face to face with the hard knocks of life

My issue is more with the clown world media that is lapping this up and trying to milk it and impress their peers and critics with it

It’s excruciating

If I’m on a break, it’s my time!

I’ll jerk it ‘til it pops if I want to.

Labor Day commemorates this. A lunch break and two 15 minute breaks per shift

I wash my hands after and get back to the fryer when the break is over.

It’s not about you.

Millions of Americans are a missed paycheck away from financial ruin. Some are getting chemo treatments right now or watching their parents fade with Alzheimer’s. There are conjoined twins even. Life is twisted and cruel.

Glad Wolf is no longer lonely and frustrated that all his shots don’t go perfectly straight though

So you are or are not empathetic of mental health, in your first post you said you were, but you seem to be showing that's not true with every post after.

Is it about him, as your words are saying or about the media which you mentioned but have said nothing about?
