Any success stories with a cervical injection? I’ve had one but no change in terms of pain management.

I had two rounds of injections. I got a little relief from the first one but the second did nothing. I have really been working on my posture and it’s doing better.

From everything I've heard it's a band aid, even if it does give some relief. My wife had one about a month ago and there's been some pain relief, but other symptoms haven't changed much if at all so far.

I had one from a BJJ injury and got no relief. Just did an arse load of time on a decompression table.

Yup, she’s getting re-examined at the end of this month after some PT. Looking at disc replacement over a fusion.

This and red light therapy are like miracles for this.

I wish I would have done my disc replacement sooner. I went the PT route then stared to experience some significant atrophy in my pec, lat, delt, bicep, and triceps which made the decision a no brainer but I feel like i could have avoided all that.

She’s already experiencing severe weakness in her tricep but the doctor wanted to make sure with PT first after her injection. This is her second opinion doctor. The first mostly dealt with older people and jumped straight to a fusion. This guy is more sports / younger adults and does a lot of replacements.

I’ve fixing to give bcp 157 a go for mine. I’ve got a herniated L4 & S1. I’ll report back on whether I noticed any improvement or not

Whatever you do, do not let them operate! Your body can naturally heal but it takes time.

I herniated mine 4 years ago having sex (i know) and it absolutely crushed me. It felt like my entire left arm was inside a fire at all times. Sleep was impossible without a lot of meds.

I spent money on EVERYTHING. What worked for me was

inversion table
blow up neck ring on amazon
physical therapy
time

I did not work for 3 months and was not back to normal for about 6.

Correct. It's designed to stop the pain and allow the patient to go through pt and heal on their own. Since it works for some people and helps them recover without surgery, it seems like a good idea; just don't think it's a shot that will cure you.

It will heal. Doctors push procedures because that’s how they make money these days. Just gentle stretching and let it heal.

I’ve got three bulging discs in my neck. Have range of motion but neck is always sore and have upper back pain as well. Been dealing with it for over a year. Had four injections. Seemed to help some at first but last one hasn’t offered much relief. Really don’t want to do surgery but might be the next step.

Herniations dont heal if the annulus is torn.

OP: Get the surgery and be done with it.
