It literally freezes for 2-3 seconds every time I try to scroll on a thread, even on the threads that don't contain embedded links. It's making it to where this site is unreadable

Happening here as well. Most times I have to close the tab and go back in on a new tab. Pretty frustrating to find where I was reading again.

I just switched from Chrome to Samsung Internet and it fixed the problem.

I guess I'll just leave TD on Samsung Internet and use Chrome for everything else.

Feels like it’s worse than ever today. Happening about every five clicks.

i have lags and 1-2 sec freezes all over the site on mobile. Android/Chrome.

It started with just threads with embedded X links, now its even on the board topic pages.

Myy mobile usage is down by 90%. I just wait until I am at my computer.

Any page that has an embedded link in it is still freezing up.

Still happening to me. It began when the embedded ads were implemented months ago and like others have said, embedded X links lock it up for 5-30 seconds each.

Android with Chrome

What device is everyone using? I believe this started in Jan and chat gpt said that was around the time of a samsung update. Are there any device/chrome updates available? Have you tried to turn off the embeds?

Until this issue is resolved, I would suggest you go into your TD settings and turn off embeds.

I'm having the same issue and it also started when the bottom of page ads were added...sometimes it happens briefly even when there are no embedded posts on the page...

The ad was always there. It was just lower on the page. Did you try turning off the embeds? Did you look for any updates on your device?

It may be the quirkiness of X.

My phone died a couple of weeks ago and T-Mobile transferred all my apps over to the new one.

However, X was brought over but other than passwords and user name, it askes for either Passkey, a security key, or a backup code of which I have none of those.

My plan is not to use my phone until X/Twitter issues an update.
