I was using a 2 gallon pump sprayer, but I recently bought a bigger property so I got a 36 gallon sprayer. I'll use that to spray the horizontal surfaces, then I'll use a pump sprayer to treat around the house.

I got to where I would spray walls also because it seems like the skeeters land on the walls as often as the ground. I have a severe disdain for mosquitoes. I'm one of those that will get bit while everyone else is just fine. The world would be better off without mosquitoes. It's the one creature I'd choose to eradicate if I could.

go get you some Suspend SC. go spray all the vegetation in your yard, mostly bushes. If you have those cast iron plants around trees, those are the worst, soak the hell out of them.

I'll spray all my azalea bushes, the cast iron plants, and any other shady area i'd suspect mosquitos to hang out during the day. Works like a charm, and if you still get a few, which you likely will b/c you can't spray your neighbors yard, then just get a thermacell to keep near you.

I live in a jurisdiction with mosquito spray trucks that go down EVERY STREET (even my little dead-end block) on a regular basis, maybe every other week or monthly.

Basically, we NEVER have mosquitoes.

For whatever reason, we are having a relatively mosquito free spring in CENLA.

Can confirm that a fogger works wonders, but this $220 plug-in variety sold on Amazon burst into flames on first use after sitting idle for the winter.

Was lucky to avoid a trip to the ER.

They had a pretty big arse plane with "Mosquito Control" written on the under side of the wings flying around Madisonville yesterday, first time I've seen one.

I gave up spraying because it killed good stuff.

This year I’m going try just having big lemongrass and rosemary plants around the patio in planters, thermacell, and citronella candles. Might add a fan.

Those mfers can survive sub freezing temps b/c they can go dormant (think hibernating bear). Make sure no standing water around your yard or old tires. It's a constant battle.

Anyone have experience with these? Zaptek?

I’m open to try anything. I read positive reviews and considering buying two to put on each side of back patio.

Claims and reviews say mosquitos will bypass you and be attracted to it.

Did you get bit or have mosquitos on you while these were turned on?

If so, then I can eliminate them from consideration.
