you're still not accepting that Lane is the head coach and want to still be mad at him but what do I know

Apparently you don't know something because Moscona doesn't have an issue with Lane. This rage boner that TD has for Scone is nauseating.

I listened to it. Houston's pop seems a little sensitive on this one to me, but I can see why he took it the way he did. Moscona was largely complimentary of both players.

I'm also not sure of the motivation or angle Moscona was going for here, but he's gotta fill air time with something that will get clicks I guess.

I've never received the impression that Moscona is anti-Kiffin.

yea not sure the anti kiffin thing and where it is coming from, he is anything but

but yea the whole haven and houston episode sucked and was weird AF.

but houston dad seems sensitive AF too

That recent Locked on LSU episode about the whole Haven/Houston situation was a rough listen too. Not sure what the motive is.
Somebody put 2 and 2 together the other day. I think one of the coaches there is a son of Moscona's coach when he was at Catholic High.

I think that is part of the reason of his bias. He's probably heard some of everything from the kid and the coach.

I never bought the kid wanting to be at LSU.

lol, I disagree. I definitely understood why he took it that way. I think you need to listen to what Matt said again.

Don’t hate him, but I just can’t listen to Moscona. He gets sidetracked and takes forever to get to the point. No thanks.

I don’t like Mascona but i feel like some of the things he took offense too were meant to be compliments.

Wants to come to LSU is usually seen as a good thing.

I listened just fine the first time. The dad apparently took it as Pop had to beg LSU to take him or something. I didn't get that at all.

I mean...Pop is what he is...an undersized QB. Moscona just pointed out the obvious differences between the two QB's size wise.

He also said he thought Pop was a great fit for Kiffin's system.

I just think the whole episode was click bait...and I guess it worked.

Peyton would be better off going to a program where he will 100% be the starter. If he does that, then he can be the "big time" QB transfer that programs want. Otherwise, he sits on the bench waiting for his time and his time never comes because he doesn't have "experience" like the portal QBs.

So in your system, no freshman QB should ever sign with a high level university until they prove themselves at a small school? Ah yes, Elite 11 QBs are just pining to sign with WKU or Coastal Carolina.

Hi, Matt.

This is simply untrue. Moscona is as well plugged in as anyone who covers LSU athletics. He broke the news that BK had been fired on his and Hunt's sports website and he talked about this Wade stuff almost two weeks ago. He reports what he hears from reliable sources. Of course, things are always subject to change.

I can’t believe MM made that stupid video about Elijah. Especially the way it was titled. I admit I didn’t even take the time to watch it, because of the title.

He said BK would never be fired last year and got pissed when his own viewers even brought up the idea after the A&M game. I don’t care if he broke any news after that. He shouldn’t have berated his own viewers for even asking about the idea of it happening.

If we are comparing Houston to Underwood I would get the point he was trying to make, I don't see how you can watch both and think LSU is missing or under achieving in some way by going with Houston. Haven is so far behind Houston in fundamentally playing the QB position, theres no comparison. If Houstons was 6'3" he would be ranked ahead of Haven as a prospect.

They would be wiser to do it that way. And it's not just QBs. Unless a kid is a Lamar Brown type, then it may be in his best interest to go where he can play right away and put some college tape out.

The transfer portal has already drastically changed a lot about college football and recruiting will catch up to it soon.

Who's more valuable in the 2028/2029 season? A redshirt freshman/sophomore Peyton Houston who's been sitting the bench for two years or a Peyton Houston with one or two years of starting experience at WKU, Coastal Carolina, North Texas, etc..?

Now consider this example and throw in Peyton Houston absolutely tearing it up at one those smaller programs and being nationally recognized.

Who you want at LSU in 2028 or 2029? And which one of these versions of Peyton Houston is making more money in 2028 and or 2029?

Depending on what happens with Levitt this season, LSU isn't going into the 2027 or 2028 season without signing another portal QB.
