Denny Duron knows how to develop QBs. Evangel went down hill when he retired. So he came out of retirement and QBs are chucking again.

YES, YES, HELL YES!!!! The QB i wanted the most in that class!

He's going to kill it here. He is perfect for the college game. Similar game to Bryce Young right now.

I think he runs less in collage. Chis Leak, In my option. Seen him play for a long time. Also, not saying he is 6’ but closer to 5’11” than 10”.

I think Houston is the best QB in the LA class; even if Haven has more "tools".

Not a knock on Haven, but his rating is based on his height and his arm strength, not necessarily on production. Pop plays against stronger competition and that 70% completion percentage is what really pops out at you when you look at his other stats, which are also incredible considering who they play.

He does.

This guy is the truth and really (as mentioned here) what you want in a college QB. He will be an early enrollee and he will push for that job.

Even better news, Kelly and Duron seem to get along well. They got to know each other when Reliford was being recruited. Evangel is loaded every year so thats a nice connection.

Can’t believe I missed this Kool. So you think our numbers good against USC with this putting it over the top?

I’ve said it numerous times. Pop is the QB you want. He will push to start his second year here. He is mobile, accurate, plenty arm talent, and a super kid.

Same. Ive been all in on Houston since last yr. I do kind of like the Russell Wilson comp as an overall player and person.

You won't have to worry about this kid loving football and doing everything he can to become elite.

Cool… but I won’t believe it until he signs in November/December 2026…
______

We have never heard this before. So you are saying that some kids change their verbal commitment before signing day?

Hopefully he hits a growth spurt and can get to 6 feet. I’m assuming he’s 5’8-9” or so if they’re saying 5’10.
________

Only reason he is not a clear 5 star.
