Paying high school kids that kind of money is insane.

I almost hate to say this….almost. The kids that signed to a school because of NIL money really care about wins and loses as it relates to their personal finances. Let them transfer to some school that has televised games once a year.

thats a problem? Bring in all the 5 stars, figure out who are the best of the best, then portal out all of the ones that cant hack it. I'll take that problem.

Last number I heard was that there are currently 2,000 + players in the transfer portal. And not near enough openings to match that number, so a lot of players will have lost a college scholarship for nothing.

i think you will start seeing these type players transfer when they dont get the NIL money they were promised when recruited
I dont understand how these kids can even sign these deals without agents. It just seems like the whole NIL thing is going to blow up in a lot of faces. An 18 year old negotiating with business men. Some will be misled for sure.

It's not really an Either/Or bro. My point was that a program that has good players who stay in the program and develop chemistry for 4/5 years and is a cohesive unit will THRIVE. And that many (not all) FAR more talented programs will struggle exactly as LSU has with disharmony and defections.

Backups aint getting star NIL money. If you don’t see the field you will be eating beans.

Probably..... a program just doesn't have room for that much 5 star talent. I don't know about MASS exodus, but some of those guys will def be hi8tting tthe portal next season. That's the thing about recruiting in the era of the portal.....a homerun class won't stay a homerun and a dud class won't stay a dud....it's all just so weird and confusing

Honestly makes me wonder how many kids are saying, "Yeah, I'll go there for a year, get my cash, then transfer to where I really want to play."

They definitely better hope they win a lot of games next year because if they dont these players will be bailing on them

In addition, this entire setup is going to be “rat poison “ in locker rooms across the country.

They'll be broke 2 years out of college.

Or once they get paid they won’t put in the necessary work to get selected high in the NFL draft.

And they will because their coach is a joke.
