Reed's poor passing lost that game. You can't win a playoff game with 3 points. I bet MVB could put up at least 10 against UM

I’ll pass on Reed, Miami showed how to minimize him. I’m not too high on that dude.

It’s called having discipline in your rush and maintaining gap integrity, LSU was terrible at it and it caused big holes for him to escape from.

Why is LSU the only team he runs for over 100 on?
We weren’t athletic enough at DE and LB, Perkins can’t spy someone with real athleticism, and we aren’t nearly as fast or aggressive as an entire defense when playing zone. Unfortunately, lacking someone who can spy a Reed or Pavia meant we had to play a ton of it vs mobile QBs.

Am I missing something here? Crockett was dirt poor.

That throw to end the game was bad. He had 5 yards of spade infront of his receiver, and he throws behind.
No juice on it either, he just kind of floated in there. Gotta put that ball in with some authority on it.

Well, he’s not a good QB sooooooooo
No thanks

That was a completely different case. Pavia played at a JUCO, which does not fall under the NCAA umbrella, and had to file a lawsuit to get his waiver. Chambliss has been under the NCAA umbrella all 5 years of his college career.
Not really different. Every player that ever played at a JUCO had to count those yrs if the moved up to NCAA level. Pavia filed his lawsuit on NCAA denying him his opportunity to earn NIL for some reason. The judge issued a stay or a continuance and the case would not be tried before the season. The NCAA conceded to a degree and granted him a waiver that only applied to him because of his court case. Others last year in similar situations had their cases rejected by NCAA and some got approved. Each case is different.
Chambliss’ case is not that big of a stretch.

Dude, did you watch the game against Miami?
He was absolutely horrendous...I mean beyond a few missed throws, but almost every single throw was off stride, in the dirt, over their head...just very inaccurate. He was also just like that against Texas when they slaughtered them too. Outside of that, A&M played a joke of a schedule. Also, last year, down the stretch when they started playing quality Defenses...he was absolute dogshite.
I posted in the board on the day of the Miami game saying they will send him to the portal, and I hope that LSU doesn't get him. You aren't winning a championship with him at QB. Good defenses will take away his running, and make him beat you with his arm. He can't.
So, please no at LSU.

The reality is that Baker's approach against Mobile QBs needs to change. You can't blitz them...they will run right by you. Play contain...make him beat you with his arm...he can't against good D.

This is precisely what the Tigers did years ago against Idina, I mean Johnny Manziel. He threw one TD against the Tigers in 2 games. A play Tre’Davious White slipped on.
