He’s probably going to cost between 2-3M. Just depends if Kiffin thinks he’s worth that
Not to say it has to be spent on Stewart, but with damn near 40 mil to use that 2-3 mil number shouldn't even make us blink. fricking RBs are getting offered 1.5 to 2. Thats for the least valuable position on the field. Contrary to what many think, per percentage, there aren't that many kids earning over a mil out there. Even with 105 you have to spend that money somewhere.(dont really have to but its there to spend) I'd venture at least half our roster is under 200 grand. I'd pay this Stewart 2 mil long before I would've paid that other Stewart the same 2 mil. Even now. Before Lamar and Big Rich too.

Stewart is 6-5, 250, with 4.6 speed.
Against LSU this year, he sacked & pressured/hurried Nuss, made backfield TFLs, blew up short-yardage blocking schemes & even covered receivers. He's a beast. Pay him.
Edit: Here’s a refresher for those who don’t remember (wears #6) :

This is not the NFL. A dominant back may not be worth what a top QB, DE, or LT are, but they are worth a shite load more in college football than in the pros. The issues with career length don’t apply in a 4-5 year situation and a great back playing on fire can absolutely carry your offense (see Notre Dame in the playoffs last season) and set everything else up.

Retarded arse gun celebrations.

Probably one of the biggest surprises this season was how little the impact the edge rushers had this season. We went out and got Pyburn, Payton and Butler to go with Reliford who got injured. DE play was solid for the most part, but I was hoping to see Peoples work magic with the portal players like he did last season and there just wasn't a dynamic performance from the edge.
It will be interesting to see new players and where Lucas and Peoples settle in on position groups. DB play had a big leap this past season. I expect DL to show out next season.
