That’s how I feel about him, much rather sorsby but understand it would take a lot to get him to BR.

Players can't take visits until January 5th even though the portal opens on January 2nd, so I don't believe you.

A player just scheduled multiple visits for this weekend then one to LSU (Iverson hooks)

No shocker, Scone was wrong

Leavitt would be an unmitigated disaster.

Gotta do better than this.

I’m pretty sure trips can’t happen until Monday.

You don’t know much about Lisfranc recovery.

If we are seriously even thinking about bringing him in, then the recovery time must not be as long as some have thought

I’m not worried about him being structurally sound. He’s going to have good surgeons and good therapy. The bigger issue is just how tight/how much pain does he continue to have over the 6 months or so after returning to play. THAT is what people are referring to when they give a 12-18 month timeline.

Given that he’s in a new system with new teammates it’s far from ideal if we’re getting a guy who is at 75-80% of what he will be in 2027. I don’t think anyone thinks his career is over as much as it’ll be a difficult transition year.

Does he? He’s had one good year as a head coach.

We just watched a good QB’s production decline tremendously year over year in the same offense with mostly the same players due in part to a relatively minor, but painful and nagging injury. Leavitt’s injury and the pain during recovery isn’t something to just brush off. It is a risk that has to be considered, especially for a QB that has to use his legs more to be effective.

Eh would’ve preferred some other guys that can throw. No doubt Leavitt can run for his life but his passing highlights are bleak. Most of which are actually Jordan Tyson highlights.

I’d just prefer a QB that has exceptional throwing ability not rushing but Lane knows what he wants. Curious to see how this plays out
